The grim condition of the Black family today is the manifestation of a plan by former slave masters that would perpetuate self-hatred and self-destructive acts among Blacks long after chattel slavery ended, Nation of Islam Minister Donna Farrakhan told an audience at Fernwood United Methodist Church Sunday.
Farrakhan, the national director of Women for the Millions More Movement, said the scheme was laid out in a letter by infamous slave holder Willie Lynch, who read the letter to slave owners at Jamestown, Va., in 1712.
